We've restored this house ourselves. We live here. The original fireplaces, the period tiles, the sash windows — they're all still there. So is the kind of attention to detail a standard hotel rarely has time for.

Yes. The private walled garden is available to all guests, not just those in garden-facing or patio rooms.
Two rooms have private ensuites: the Ensuite Double with Patio and the Top-Floor Studio Suite. The other five rooms share bathrooms — shared with no more than two other rooms on the same landing.
No. Rooms do not have televisions. This is a deliberate choice — the house is designed for a quieter, more restful stay. Guests bring their own devices and Wi-Fi is included throughout.
We don't serve breakfast. There are good cafés and restaurants within a short walk.
We don't accept guest pets at the property. We do have two resident cats.
The house is not step-free. Access involves stairs throughout, and some rooms require additional flights. It may not suit guests with limited mobility.
Full payment is taken at the time of booking. Cancellations more than 21 days before arrival are subject to a 15% administration fee. Cancellations within 21 days of arrival are non-refundable. No-shows and early departures are charged in full.
